hearing problem or something else or nothing?

I have a three year old DCB (turned three in May) here that I have some questions about...

Right now he is sitting at the table and it's been 15 minutes now. He asked to be excused 15 minutes ago and I said yes, ____ you can leave the table. Then he asked again a few minutes later. I again said yes (now I'm at the table right next to him). He's still there and I just now said _____, you can leave the table and play when ever you want. Still sitting there. This will happen almost every day. He can sit there up to 20 minutes after everyone leaves the table.

He will also ask questions to things after I just said something. ie: yesterday I told the kids that we are going outside after art. A few minutes later he asks me 'are we going outside today?'

He will ask me over and over during the day who is here today, who has what job on the job chart, are we going outside, etc. I will answer him the first two times or tell him to check the job chart. He will tell me everytime he needs a kleenex, etc.

He seems to hear ok when kids talk to him but he does throw himself on the floor and get upset alot when playing. I'm not sure if he's confused when the kids are saying things to him? He seems to get frustrated easily. His speach and drooling problem has gotten better since starting here in June. I can also see improvements with learning letters, numbers, etc since starting.

He gets very upset easily. IE: Was on the floor crying the other day when he asked his mom if they were going to the doctor and she said no, on Friday we are going to the dentist. He wasnted to go to the doctor and got very upset when she said it was the dentist not the doctor.
