    Oh No...Oh PLEASE NO!!!

DCM picked up dcg today and mentioned that she drove DCD home early from work today because he has food poisoning. She said that he started feeling yucky just after they got to work. I asked, "Are you sure it's food poisoning and not a stomach virus?"

Well, she kind of skated around the question and now I see on facebook that she just posted the EXACT SAME QUESTION. Wondering now if DCM is sick too.

    Eff. This.

DCG is scheduled to come tomorrow and probably will even if both parents are ill. If this is a stomach virus, our whole family was just exposed, as well as all the other dcks...and it would hit right around Christmas morning, I think. We've been exposed all week too.

    Crap.

    Now what?!

        OMG that would soooo ****...

I would call her still tonight and tell her, hey I know your hubby is sick and I don't want anyone else getting it right before Christmas. Is there any possible way of keeping her home? I would do this just because I can't due puke. If someone pukes, I will puke......

I have gotten REALLY sick that last 3 years on christmas break....

I would call her tonight, and be honest.... You would NEVER ask her to keep daycare girl home, except that you really want to be more careful this week just because it's christmas. They will be bummed, but they will understand.

My parents are all pretty good, and would keep the child home, even with no symptoms just because they don't want to expose anybody else at Christmas.

Wash! Rinse! Repeat! Don't touch your mouth or nose or eyes! And wash hands everytime you have contact w this child, her items from home, etc. And Lysol the doorknobs and other things touched frequently. Oh and did I mention was hands?! Good luck! I'm so sorry! Don't panic! Fingers crossed for you!

I'd totally exclude her from care tomorrow - you don't need to be exposed to this anymore than you already have!

Ugh!! Luckily we've only had colds hit here. I'm sending my twins home now due to coughs, drippy noses, glassy eyes, etc. Poor kids. I just want them to rest up so THEY have a good Christmas.

I've had 2 kids out with stomach bugs. I'm crossing my fingers that none of us gets it and if we do, that it's after Christmas. Good luck. I hope you stay healthy for the holiday!

Well, all seems to be well. We worked it out and it seems so far that it must have been food poisoning like they thought because dcd is fine today.

Still cleanign like a fool though. Just in case...
