    Feeling Appreciated Today

So today is my last day until January 2nd.

The last few weeks I have been feeling really frustrated and feeling rather used.

All the parents came this morning bearing gifts for me. lovethis

So now im gonna brag! Sorry

I got a giant towered box full of different chocolates, $100 cash, $50 Gift certificate to Boston Pizza, Gifts for my own kids, Christmas cards full of thanks and appreciation and family picture cards.

I was definately not expecting any of this. But Im glad they all realize that I am doing a good job.

Makes it all worthwhile now. Especally when they all have raised very good children.

Yeah! Always feels good to be appreciated!

But isn't weird how the ones who won't even give a card are the ones who ignore rules and expect discounts and special treatment the rest of the year.

I have all teachers here, and I know that I wouldn't give them a break, on their breaks for Christmas and Spring - their children would be here everyday, all my families!! I give them a 50% disc. except for the Holidays, which are paid reg. price

I have all teacher's kids too. They pay for all their breaks at full price......and Holidays. Summer they pay 1/2 price and can bring their kids 2 days a week. I'd rather get away from teacher's kids.....but that's who I get. It's nice to have an easier summer though.....and I save up $ during the year to compensate for the lesser income.
