So I came across this blog this morning, and as I'm reading it (and bawling my eyes out as well) I'm realizing that although I may have some tough times, my life is truly blessed! I thank god every day that my child is healthy, and that I can fill his life with love and happiness. Please read this blog about a little boy named Oliver, who was born prematurely at 26 weeks and is still fighting for his life 7 months later. I know I'll be sending some special prayers up this evening for this incredibly strong little guy and also saying a very special 'Thank You' to God for the blessings that I DO have. lovethis

I have a dg that was born at 24 weeks she was in the hospital till she was almost a year. She is 5 now and is doing pretty well she had a kidney dissolve when she was little so they watch that close to make sure the other is functioning good. And has some attention problems ( who doesn't at 5). Lol but she is doing well there is lots of hope for these baby's.- Flag

so sad and I bet all they want for the holidays is to have that baby in their arms at home
I also am feeling the same right now. Last night my family delivered a hamper to a family. Lots of stuff we gave them, but I noticed in the hamper there were 3 gifts. There were 3 kids in the house. Walked in and it just stunk like cigarette smoke in the house. Carpet was filthy and probably has never seen a vacuum. 1 chair in the living room. No tv, no christmas tree.
I feel horrible for that family, but I feel angry to the parents as well. I know smoking is an addiction and not like you can just stop. But when it becomes a matter of your kids getting a present or not, or having a tree to decorate, it's a big deal. Skip buying your damn cigarettes and buy your kids a present.- Flag
