    Portable Booster Seat Question

I use 2 booster seats that strap onto my kitchen chairs. Would it be ok just to leave them on the floor? This way I store them away at night? Would it seem bad to have the kids sitting in the on the floor?
    Thanks!

do they have the trays on them?

I made the mistake of using them on my $8,000 kitchen table. The kids ruined my table and chairs.

I started putting them on the floor and used the trays for a few months until they were all able to sit at a child size table.

None of the parents said anything, but I was upfront and told them that I felt they were too old for a high chair and too young for a table and chair without some kind of saftey belt. I also told them that I didnt want to further damage my table and chairs and they all seemed to understand

I do that because once a 20 month old kicked my dining room table and launched the chair backwards. Thankfully I was right there and caught him mid-fall but ever since then I out the boosters on the floor. Added bonus is that my chairs don't have food smeared on them or scratches all over the seat and backs.

The portable boosters are nice but not as safe as a highchair. Highchairs have the wide feet to keep them from tipping over unlike typical chairs. Boosters on the floor is a safety issue for me. I would tell the parent that as well.
