hello iam back again i will be starting my daycare soon what should i charge ? i dont wanna charge to high then not to low iam only going to few a children so i need to know what would be the hourly weekly charge ? i was thinking for toddlers $100 a week younger $150 a week hourly $5 dollars ?????

when i stared I called all of the other daycares both home and centers in my area. found out what they were charging and what they offered. Then I decided to offer something unique and felt because of this I would charge a little less than what the highest price was. The reason for this was that I was starting over daycare again as I had moved from southern to northern cali and I felt that I would need to be a little lower than others as I did not have a reputable reputation yet. this was 4 years ago and now I charge more than most centers...

hello well we will have to check with daycare centers they are only a few in home daycare chlid care providers that i know of so i will check with daycare centers thanks

There should be a Resource and Referral Agency in your county. They can provide you with any and all info you need regarding supply and demand, average rates, etc.
