The SA's I had today are the same ones I'll have this summer so I told them about the idea of traveling through the U.S. They wanted to pick their states right away so we came up with Alaska, Hawaii, Missouri, Maine, Vermont, Colorado and Massachusetts. I can't wait! I'm glad you shared that idea. It'll be fun, and maybe we'll all learn something. Would love to hear some more about different ideas.

If they are older then do some science experiments. Last summer we did soda explosions, bubble soulution, and volcanos.

Also they liked making collages, creating skits, paper mache, homemade playdough, painting.

Shrinky dinks were the most popular craft and was one we repeated multiple times. You can buy shrinky dink paper at micheals and you can shrink them in a toaster oven so the kids can watch and if your at a center with out a oven it is great too.

Ask the kids for suggestions on what they want to do for crafts or what they would like to learn about.
