I Did It!!!!

I did it!!!! Somehow I managed to watch my 8 daycare children and put together an awesome Holiday Party this evening. I had the children help me bake 5 different kinds of cookies and prepare pizza bagels for the parents who all stayed after care for a party and left around 8:00. Everyone including myself bought EACH child in care a gift. From build a bear kits, magic wands, board games, aprons with the children's names embroidered on them to new shirts the kids LOVED their gifts. I was surprised with an embroidered apron for myself, a gift certificate for a massage, a candle and a set of Christmas towels. We all enjoyed eachothers company and it was nice for the parents to meet one another. I think we will do a party in the summer too, when the pool is open. I am so happy and can't believe I pulled it off watching 5 kids all day and 3 after school. Maybe next year I will do it on Saturday! ::::::
