Just wondering if anyone else has had to term/loosing clients lately? Ugh. I lost 2 and had to term 1. Guess everyone was right when they said holidays are the times alot of families shift. But on a side note, I filled 2 spot making more money than I was with the last families with less stress!

Well at least you have filled them already. That's great. I usually lose them around this time too, or in the summer. In the summer it isn't so bad because my own kids are out of school and it makes it a little easier. But, I've got to get my emergency (rainy day) fund together so that in times like this I have a back up plan. I keep meaning to do that and something always comes up

I know! Unfortunately alot of parents are just looking for cheap care and they don't care what is done/included in the care of their childcare.Comment

I've lost 3 daycare kids in the past few months. I am having a hard time filling those spots too. Currently I'm down to one infant and a part time school aged child and part time preschooler... It's tough right now. I hope I can fill the spots SOON!Comment

yeah im not doing to great right now either. I have 2 full time and 2 part- time right now and it is not helping with the bills....especially now that its winter!!! ughh i hate this time of year.. Good luck to everyone hope you all get more kids!!!Comment

Im sorry ladies...I hope it gets better. I recieved a word of mouth client today, and she is 95% certain that the kids will start here. Plus I talked to my other DCP, and she said the kids are really good and quiet! We will see :-) I am surprised that I am filling positions so fast. Because I advertised for the past 2 months and didn't get any bites! My daycare seems to be weeding out the "misbehaved" children itselfComment
