I'm curious what other HOME childcarers do for christmas parties. In the past I had the kids decorate cookies, do a gift exchange and play games. LAtely I have been talking to others saying that I may do too much in a day. They said they don't decorate food items, only do a gift exchange and enjoy the day. What do other providers do with your children for a Christmas party? I definately need ideas!

Jammies, books, movie, hot cocoa, gifts from me. I used to do a gift exchange where the kids drew names, but I only have 4 girls right now I just do the gifts. -
I invite the familes for a potluck dinner. I ask them to bring something that is traditional to their own holiday celebrations.
I set up some games, activities, and crafty things. We decorate cookies, Santa makes a visit, and we watch the video slideshow I make every year.
I actually rented out a hall this year, because I'm almost full now, and I know I could never fit everyone in my house!Comment
