    Book Exchange

Anyone ever do a book exchange? Another provider was asking if we wanted to participate and was told that we could receive 36 books, and only have to send out one. Sounds like an awesome idea and am seriously considering it.

I have never heard of a book exchange but have heard of flip flop exchanges. A book exchange would be fun too. Wish someone in my area would start one.

How does this work. Maybe I'm a sceptic but I think receiveing that many books in exchange for only 1 seems too good too be true, and if seems like it's too good to be true .... well you know the rest ::

I was thinking the same thing. One book for 36? I'm not getting how that works.

I suspect it is not just one book. I just participated in a lottery ticket exchange. It went like this:
Nicole sent me a $1 scratch-it ticket along with a letter.
*I sent one $1 scratch-off to the person who sent it to Nicole (Marilyn) and not letter.
*I send a $1 scratch-off ticket and a letter to six of my friends.
*Each of my friends sends a $1 scratch-off ticket to my friend Nicole, and one with a letter to six of their friends.
*My friend's friends each send me a $1 scratch-off ticket, and then the letter and ticket to six of their friends.

That would then be 36 lottery tickets to me. I suspect the book exchange works very similarly.
Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back.

It's a variation on the old chain letter. Ideally, it would work...but someone always breaks the chain and.......well no books.

Yes that is exactly it! I thought about the fact that someone would break it, that is why I was going to post it on my facebook instead of email/mail it! Interested people only, as it is for the kids, you tug the heart strings. Don't be ameanie !
