What Are The Outside Space Requirements?

I live in kansas and my husband and I found a nice duplex that would be perfect for my daycare. They are going to allow me to put a fence in if we decide to move there but it can only extend out a certain amount... which isnt that big. I have to go measure tomorrow night to get the exact square footage. But, is there even a requirement on outdoor space for a licensed in home daycare in kansas?

In MI for a group home daycare (up to 12 children) I have to have a fenced in area of at least 600 sq ft.

I am a registered provider in Wichita, KS. I know there is nothing required for me as far as square feet needed. I just checked the regs for licensed home and I do not see anything about size requirements. You will want to double check but I think you will be good.
