    Washing Toys

Do you machine wash all items that are material? The baby toys, puppets and stuffed animals after they have been chewed.

      Hi Abigail, nice name!

If it can't be washed and hold up, it doesn't need to be in a daycare. All soft materials go in the wash and dryer....even the baby dolls that have plastic body parts with stuffed bodies! Make sure you don't have electronic toys that are soft, they'll never ever actually be clean even spot cleaning doesn't really clean them. I don't do electronics.

Yeah Abigail nice name I saw we have the same name and are both newbies! I'm on month 5 of my daycare! I'm so glad my husband had me sign up for this forum. He was getting annoyed by all the questions I was asking him that he didn't have a clue about!

Oh yeah, I've been on this forum for a LONG TIME. LOL. Everyone here knows how much planning I've done, yet I feel like I still have more to do. I've worked in daycare for over a year, but now want to open my own in our home. My first interview for a soon-to-be 1 year old is next Wednesday. I already have two babies starting mid-December and have taken 1 drop in about a week ago. I still have some minor things to accomplish, but love this forum for all my questions and to read about other's experiences as well.
