    Another Craigslist Undercutting...

UM.....OKAY......because parents are gonna want to go from paying $100 per week to $200 per week (for the same care) in a few months. I think not.....

Recession Rate Childcare only 20.00 per day.

I am offering a limited time special, to any child starting care here in the next six weeks.

From now until June. I am offering childcare at only 20.00 per day. I am Certified and have many years or exp. caring for children. We do many fun activities; drawing, pretend play, free play, music and movement, walks, outside play, kickball, walks, story time and rest time.

Extended hours are available; as are an occasional weekend. This offer expires when the ad expires and rate will then be 40.00 a day.

She's in for a lot of trouble in June. How much you wanna bet that many of the clients she signs up with this special pricing will bail come time to up the rate?

the only way I can see this working is if she makes them sign a year contract....But she would still me losing money.

Economy is bad and people are doing everything and anything.

I was thinking the same thing but it's still too long for such a large discount and a year contract wouldn't be enough for me.

If I was desperate for new clients I could see offering a discount for 4-8 weeks and then full price after that but it's opening the door for people that want a deal instead of quality care.
