I saw a mention of the forum cycle and thought it was referring to every so often the trolls or unregistered jumping in and stirring the pot..haha, totally did not realize but now makes total sense!

I noticed it, it happens usually between the 12th and the 20th of the month, that even the most innocent of discussions turns into a cat fight usually. Often though, that does seem to correspond with the unregistered/trolls who stir the pot.

It's been a while since we've had a really weird troll-post.

On another board, we called it a "Sock Puppet" where a regular poster could re-register under another name, and start an ugly post, then go back to their old user name, and answer their own post.
