Meaning what? Memorizing the portion sizes? I just can't imagine what we're doing for 2 hours.

we always just talk about any new food program regs, healthy meal options, recipes, meal planning, that sort of thing...its really quite simple. never any quizzes on portion sizes or anything like that.....

They aren't bad. I go with other providers I know and my rep usually does the training I attend, so it's relatively painless. A handout to follow along with the PowerPoint presentation, a little group work on the topic for the year, plus a snack that highlights yummy and healthy. That is how ours usually go.

Don't worry. It will be fine. It's just one more class in the list.

Your's is two hours long? Wow! Our's is an all day Saturday training, done yearly. I think it's 8am-3pm, if I remember right. The providers in our area think it's fun And no quizzes or tests or anything (Unless you miss the training, and then they make you do a bunch of reading online, and then do a long test afterward to make sure you really did read it). That's enough for us not to miss (I highly dislike tests)!
