Mine is when they mess up the craft drawers and also the drawers that have ziploc baggies of card games, dice games, memory games, etc. It's not like I'm a neat freak, but jeez, these kids stir it up like a cyclone!! They'll close a drawer, and pipe cleaners are sticking out of it in every direction. Can't they see that??? I know it's MY hangup, so I don't make a huge deal of it, but I at least TRY to get them to be neater!!

Mine is when if one gets in trouble for something, another will do it.

Or when parents put onsies on potty trained kids.

Or when socks do NOT stay on.

          Kids: Smacking while eating.

Parents: "How much do I owe you this week?"
          - Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.

I agree with the standing on Books- you can't tell me you didn't notice there is a giant hard cover boOk under your feet!!! Come on now. It also bugs me when books are not taken care of and pages are ripped- I don't care if your 8 if that happens back to fabric for you! Books are expensive and beautiful

              Parents:

Showing up early, showing up late and not telling me, bringing in food/drink, bringing in toys, paying late, being inconsiderate, etc, etc, etc

              Kids:

Misusing toys and telling me "No."

I could list many, many more....

Today - it's throwing toys. A whole bucket of beads got thrown, as we were picking them up, he tosses them again...

He's taking a "think about it" moment in the other room. When "I'm" done thinking about it, we'll pick them up, have lunch, and go down for a nice long nap.

Today the whiny, mopey, bossy 4 year old has really been taking a toll on my patience level.

three year old that cant drink from a regular cup, tries and spills it ALL over. Won't talk to me, won't answer me, and they want to start potty training.

Telling me what so and so is doing or not doing when I'm right next to that child. Like I don't have ears and eyes!

Standing on books (or folding them if they aren't hardcover) drives me nuts too!

Hmmm from every day to day it would be parents picking up late and even though I might get a text to let me know they'll be late having no ideal when they will arrive. Although I do get a late fee for late pick ups.

Today's pet peeve. Running in the house, chasing the puppy, tattling, my dd spilling her cup of juice that she spills repeatedly every single day, hiding in the curtains and spinning them around, that was just from today...!!

I have a dcb who stands on books, throws them, and uses them as a "sled" to ride on our little indoor slide. Grrrr! Needless to say, he is banned from books or closely supervised if I am feeling generous.
