Thanks For All Of The Encouragement!

Well today is my Friday and I am super Happy.

As some of you recall, I have had some really hard times with parents over the last few months. I made a lot of mistakes and therefore was having to learn things the hard way and pay the price.

Well, in the last two weeks, I have worked my tail end off. I am now going to be full again starting the first of the year.

I decided to take off the holidays and have some time to spend with my family and especially my little man who really was lacking time with his mommy.

I have also cut my hours from 60 a week to 42 hours a week. I am super excited and with the time off, (I will have only 2 part time kids here two days a week) I will revamp my entire daycare with a paint job, new tables and hopefully build some new sensory tables/buckets.

Thank you all for encouraging me and telling me when I have made the bad mistakes.

thank you for telling me like it is, even if it hurt my feelings, because that is what I needed to hear..


Feeling like a lot of my improvements have come to me because of this site and you guys/....... So Michael thank you as well!!

thank so much. I am feeling great. I think it was you that posted about why play is important and one of the articles talked about how when you are over worked and have no free time to yourself, you fall behind, become chronically overwhelmed and burn out.

I think that this is going to be best for my entire family. Everyone started to hate the Daycare because it took away all of our family time....

I know it will be a great year I can feel it!!!!

That was me yesterday and I'm in AZ. I know...I shouldn't complain...but I'm not used to 43 degree weather.

Daycare!! I am really excited for you!! I've read a lot of your posts and know how hard you've worked to get to where you want to be. Your post as well as others helps me a lot with the way a run my daycare. You've taught me what a backbone means and how to keep it...!! Thank you for your posts and sharing!!

amazing what a coat of paint will do. We all get in a slump, but I think even people who work outside the home get in it, I think its just worse for us because we are home all day.
