    How do you directors handle the repeated requests for Pro-rating tuition? the holidays are approaching, and despite my newsletter notice reminding that "we don't pro-rate, so please don't ask," I've already been asked! The parents are both teachers who are off two weeks in December.

    Suggest registering on the forum. We have one thread that relates to pro-rate but I am not sure it deals with holidays: https://www.daycare.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13171

      Honestly? ::

      1. I take a deep breath.

      2. Remind myself they all honestly think they are the exception to the rule and are not purposefully making my blood pressure go up.

      3. Then I just say NO. Every time.

        yes, this is kind of like the if you build it; they will come line of thinking.

        So for this profession it is more like "If it is a policy; someone will question it."

        All part of the job.

        Just practice saying "No."
