Wording? Full Time Over Part Time

I guess I must have worded my contract wrong as everyone questions the sections that discusses part time care over full time care.

All full time spots will be held precedence over part time spots. I am having trouble explaining it on paper.

For those of you who do this, can you share with me how you have it written.....thanks

Mine says "Full time families have priority over part time families. All part time schedules will be accommodated on a first come, first serve basis AFTER full time families have scheduled."
