First Day Off in 2 yrs!!

I am not sure how it happened but God MUST OF PLANNED this just for me!!

2 of my families took their vacations this week 1 of which payed me for the week even though I don't charge them when their not here. And my other family just had their baby last week so is on maternity leave for 6 weeks. I will only have their oldest 2 days this week for 4 hrs and a drop in 2 times this week. The easiest week every!! Today, is the first day in 2 yrs I've had a vacation day of sorts for my self and I am loving it!! Get to spend all day with my daughter and then she heads to school for a few hrs and mommy gets some time a lone.

Hubby still out of a job but wonderful friends of ours have pulled together and created "honey to do lists" for him to do for them and they they give him $$ for doing them and also he's been pulling some side work to help with making ends meet. He's been interested in getting his contract lic. and getting bonded so he can start his own biz as a contractor doing Handyman work. I think he'd really love doing that as it is a deserve type of work which he loves. He just needs to get his contractors lic. which he doesn't know how to get as of yet but needs to find out laws in AZ to get one to operate.

We've been so blessed since his lay off. I know you all understand how scary it is to be out of work and try to keep your own daycare biz in tacked. I am feeling the Lord work miracles in our lives every single day.

I hope each of you have a Wonderful Week this week!!

So happy for you! The Lord helps those who help themselves and you have both worked hard to make ends meet. Keep it up! I have a feeling that your husband losing his job may well be a cloud with a very silver lining!

My husband and I have often looked back on "dark" times in our lives, only to realize that they were actually times when we grew and learned and are now actually GLAD that we didn't get the easy solution at the time.

How wonderful for you, enjoy every minute!!!

good to hear about your hubby and hopefully he can get into doing something
            he really enjoys.

that is part of why I chose to try in home child care..I just love the relationship and learning, humor with the kids and you miss out on some of that when you are in a classroom setting with 20+ and all the other stress of teaching.

I'm so glad you got a day off - and that your husband is keeping you all afloat!

There is always work for someone willing to work. It may not be what YOU plan. Be thankful your hubby is handy that he can manage to do odd jobs.

I hope you enjoyed your day!
