And has strong opinions.
First, he HATES, HATES, HATES his baby bottles. (dr Brown) DESPISES them. So, feeding him can take over an hour, and he's having a complete meltdown.
I really think that if I can get him past this issue (either by using a different bottle, or getting him to like this one) We can get through the rest of the problems.
The other big issue, is he ONLY likes to be carried with one arm. You have to football hold him, with your arm pointing out like you are carrying a heavy basket, and let him look out, while still lie down in your arm. His own Mom has ace bandages on both wrists from this carry. (she's convinced that he's only going to like this one way ever) She showed me how to do it, and I outright said "That's not going to happen here... he'll learn other ways that don't cause me to require surgery in six months" So, I let him scream on my back in a Mei tai until he relaxes and realizes "hey, this isn't so bad".
He will not sleep alone. He must be carried. (that can't go on forever either, because my back hurts...he's 17lbs) But, I'll give that a few weeks.
He is very, very picky about everything. His older brother was the complete opposite.... he could sleep anywhere, in any position, ate whatever i fed him, in whatever form I fed it, was happy to sit in a chair and watch the kids play... he was just the all around content, happy kid...so, I knew this one had to be different. I'm pretty sure God only gives you one easy kid. That rule is probably in the bible.
Anyway..... If you have any other special tricks for the kid who likes nothing, I'd appreciate.
