love, love, love my amazon prime membership and their movers & shakers list around the holidays!!! get amazing deals on toys, electronics, etc. all with free 2 day shipping - can't beat it!
I hate going to stores that time of year but for some gifts I just can't avoid it so I do a portion of in store shopping but mostly online.
Did you know you can get free Amazon Prime through Amazon Moms?
I do it all. Lol. I barter, shop local, go online, black Friday, send money to friends in other states and they shop local to them if I need something that I can't find. I don't limit myself to any one thing
I couldn't pick both but I do alot of online and store shopping.
Same here. The catalogs have come out early this year so I do a lot of compare shop on amazon. If its cheaper there I bookmark it and buy stuff each week. I do a lot of Etsy shopping too for more unique stuff. This year im making all the women in my family beauty baskets with samples of stuff people make on etsy. The samples are usually next to nothing and cost much of anything to ship so I can get a bunch of different lotions and bath teas/salts for cheap and put it all together with my DS. I think I spent $40 and can make 10 beauty baskets of bath and body stuff. Win/Win. For other stuff I LOVE TJ Maxx. I need to have my dcp make their checks out to TJ Maxx instead of Mrs E.

Just wondering how many childcare providers go out to the stores and buy gifts or if you utilize home shopping network or online shopping.
I've found myself hitting up the web quite a bit this year. Whether it's Amazon, Walmart, or LTD Commodities, I'm getting a few things here and there before the big hustle and bustle.
A little of everything but mostly in the stores. Things tend to look great in a magazine, TV or even online then when you get them it's cheaply made etc.
I put money in paypal monthly, then online shop all year to split it up into manageable chunks.
I keep color coded bins in the attic and toss them in their respective recipients bin as they arrive.
The key is to hide the bins under/behind the old cribs, your high school prom dresses and baby clothes/toys. NOBODY seems to want to touch that stuff...::
I shop all year starting after Christmas! ::
Can't beat the sales and when it's something I know someone will love I can't pass it up. Hard part is remembering to keep track fo what you have for who.
I have a bin in the attic but just 1 very large one that I could fit in. Everyone thinks has extra bed linens in it because I lay them across the top then put the lid on. Other places for hiding gifts is at my Moms house in her spare bedroom closet. Not hers of course
Mostly online since the stores are so far from where I live. I actually had two gifts arrive today and waiting for several more. I love Amazon.com. Once I find something I want to buy I love looking for the best deal, I think of it as a game.
