    Those Who Do Mixed Ages...

How many one and two year olds do you have? What is your max that you are comfortable with? Do you have an assistant or just you?

Right now I have 2 1 year olds and 2 2 year olds and I have a part time assistant.

My 1 year olds are both 14 months, I have a fresh 2 year old and a 2 1/4 year old. I've had the 2 1/4 year old since birth, I've had 1 of the 14 month olds since birth.

I wouldn't want to add any more 1 or 2 year olds. They are enough.

      I currently have 3 1yo DCKs and 1 3yo DCK. I also have a 1yo and a 3yo of my own.

I think the 4 1yos is my limit. I am quite comfortable with my days and they go smoothly for everyone. But I think adding another toddler to the mix might do me in. I do think I could add a 2yo or another 3yo definitely.

It's just me here. No assistant.

After Thanksgiving this is what I will have

        12 week old (T & Th)
        13 mo old
        16 mo old
        25 mo old (mine)
        3.3 year old
        3.3 year old

I'm full except for M & W. All boys except the 2 youngest. I run my tail off, do not sit down until naptime, and that is usually only for a few minutes. Getting circle time done is difficult and I have been trying to find ways to separate the toddlers during these times. So far they mostly cry at the gate, whether they are gated in or out.

With that being said, they are a great group. The most advanced usually helps the youngers get coat/shoes on. We have lots of rules in order to accomplish anything... At the end of the day, they are all fed/clean/safe, so I feel I've accomplished the parents goal.

I don't have an assistant, unless my 9 yo girl is out of school. She's wonderful. My husband on the other hand, if he is off of work, just gets in the way

I have 9...but can have 10 right now by myself. I have 2 18 month olds, 1 12 month old, 2 that are about 2 & 1/2, 2 that are 3, and 2 that are 4. I would only take a child over 2 or possibly 3 right now unless I hire an assistant and I'm thinking of doing that soon. If I do I will take 3 more any ages.

I have my own DD that's 2 1/2 the oldest in the group. DCK's---- 2 year old, 18 month old, 16 month old, & 14 month old. In Jan i will be getting a newborn and dropping my 16 month old (part-timer). I'm also due in May. I work by myself and this is def enough kids for me.

It is such a great age group but my goodness by the end of the day I am exhausted. If I go into a store and hear a child screaming I leave! ::

The problem is I haven''t gotten a call for over 3 in YEARS!! Its all birth- 2 year olds or the kid who is allergic to everything

              I miss 3 and 4 year olds.

because I teach a preschool program, I only will take on in diapers at a time. Otherwise, I would never be able to teach.

so my ages are 20 months to 5years

                Usually I have

                20 months (diapers)

                2.5 (potty trained)
                2.5 PT
                3.0 PT
                3.5 PT
                4.0PT

I am max 6 kids at this age group

                  I have right now
                  4
                  3
                  3
                  2
                  2
                  2
                  18m
                  13mo
                  11mo
                  9mo

It's just me except sometime my own kids are here (20,18,13&10)

I feel comfy with those numbers. My 4yr is almost 5 and will be going to school next year. I'll replace him with another infant. As young as possible. And start it all over again.

I usually have infants, but they have all grown up on me. So now I have

                    17 month mthf
                    16 month tuw
                    13 month m-f
                    14 month f
                    2 1/2 m-f
                    2 1/2 m-f
                    2 1/2 m-f
                    2 3/4 m-th
                    3 year m-f
                    3 year tuw
                    4 year mthf

Had all of them since birth! Lots are siblings! I have an assistant, but only for ratios, I can only have a certain number of kids under 2. I could do on my own, but glad I dont have to!
