i'm slowly working on it too! I have 2 in cribs, a 14 month old and a 18 month old. But cry and scream them selves to sleep. Not looking forward to that! I also want to hurry up the process cause i'm 2 months prego and feel it'll be easier now then wait till later! Yikes, that won't be fun!
I have a new born starting in Jan and mine will arrive in May, hoping EVERYONE will be on a cot by May at least!

Just curious but when you have ones that age sleeping on cots, are you in the room with them all the time? I have all my youngest ones in pnps (2 12 mo olds and a 15 month old) and 2 oldest on mats in the playroom with a video monitor so I only stay in there until they fall asleep. I would be scared that one of my little ones would roll out of a cot.

I have mats and most of them end up half off and half on the mat... I'd rather have mats specially with the young ones.

I cannot even imagine having my 12 mth old on a cot or mat.

I keep kids in a pnp til they are 2, and then it depends on the kid.

Do I feel I can trust them enough to take them out and put them

in the room with the older kids.

I hope this works out well for you, good luck!

              Yes. Naptime is supervised time.

I am in within sight and sound with every child every moment of every day. I do not seperate. My bathroom break is the only separation we get.

We start at 12 months here and have all kiddos on cots. I think we have had one roll off in the last 3 months at it is a 3 inch drop, approximately. He just keep sleeping. :-) (we did place him back on the cot. We nap on carpet here.

Wow, 12 month olds on cots! Here in Nevada we arent allowed to put them on mats until 18 mos. 12 months seems so young (to me). Im glad its working for you though.
