    Enclosed Play Areas

Does anyone have this enclosed play area? Is it easy to put up and down? I am looking for alternative ways to transition from pack in play to mats, plus, I need something easier to put up and down than pack in plays and I am thinking this would be my answer, I would buy 2 and make them a square using 4 panels each.

We had that when our twins were little. I LOVED that play area and we had 2 of them. We put them together to cover our entire living room and would take them outside ALL THE TIME when the weather was nice. They were a lifesaver and they were sturdy enough for the girls to pull-up on.

They are very easy to put up and take down and store well.

I highly recommend this play area.

I have one for my daycare kids and I LOVE it!! It's easy to put up and take down...it makes a loud click and snap when you fold it up and at first I thought I was breaking it, but it's how it is and you won't break it.

It works so great for safety for the younger ones if you have to go to the bathroom or if your attention is distracted for a bit.

        I HIGHLY recommend it!!

I have one too, and I love it beause it is so easy to use in different places. I have four sections around my treadmill so the kids can't get to that, and another two to block off part of the room when the big kids have toys that are not baby friendly. Worth the money!

I like the idea of that play yard for when we do park days so the babies have more room.

I wonder if anyone knows about a long safety gate?? The doorway to my kitchen is about 7 or so feet wide and I can't seem to find a gate that would work well for that size. Something adjustible would be great so that I could move it from that doorway to the dining entrance (about the same size) when the older kids to art at the dining table. I've seen a few but they have bad reviews (falling over and such). Does anyone use or has used a good long gate that you may think I'd be able to use?

I use one outside for the older babies and new walkers. I have also used it to block off areas that I don't want them in (like the Christmas tree) because you don't have to make it into a circle. I bought mine off craigslist for less than half price.
                I see little people.

MarinaVanessa, I have this on my stairs, which are oddly shaped:

You can add or remove pieces as needed, and you can adjust the angle on it to fit most spaces. I have had it for five years and it's still like new.

They also have play yards just like it.

The bottom of our stairs are way wider than standard and they are also angled at the bottom. We couldn't find any gate (the custom type or otherwise) that would fit. We ended up using a few panels from this play yard and securing it to the bannisters with thick, heavy duty velcro strips. It was perfectly secure and passed inspection too. Now we are looking for a way to gate off the opening between my living room and dining room which is about 7 feet as well. I am trying to figure out a way to use the panels here as well. Just need a way to secure the ends to the wall.
