    Sliding Glass Doors

How often do you wash your sliding glass doors?

I only do it a couple of times a year because I think the kids are less likely to run through it. (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.) I'm sure they're much safer now that most are double paned, though.

I don't have sliders, but a friends of mine pies the window clings on hers year round to keep her DC kids from plowing through the glass.

regs say we have to keep ours marked, so i usually hang window clings.

Of course, I also tell people its not fingerprints and dog slobber, it's art.

I have stickers on mine, but say that the mess is a safety issue.

I have 36 windows, most upstairs, so I only do them twice a year.

I'm kind of a neat freak and between my 2 dogs and the kids I have to do mine at least once a week! We have french sliders in our dining room and I've never had a child run into them yet.

I do mine a couple times a week, but I have very few windows in my house and the fingerprints drive me nuts!

I wash mine once a week.

However, the children are trained not to enter/exit any of the doors with out me or their parent opening the door first this encludes the car.

Yeah I would def. put some kind of marker or window clings (seasonal) on them to prevent children from running into them. I remember running into doors a few times as a child and it was not fun, actually happened to me not too long ago, only because I was staring at a really cute pair of shoes in a store window:: I am just accident prone though

I have the kids Windex them whenever I can remember (probably a little more during the cold & flu season). It's regulation in my state that there has to be 'markers' on sliding glass doors. I have window clings up the ying-yang!

so where does everyone find their window clings and how do you store them?

I often use the holiday ones I find at the dollar stores or Target.
