Free Time: I read, a lot. I love books. I also crochet & knit. We homeschool. We have church. I do some sewing on the side. Sell some of that. Garden in the summer. Local festivals and events. Bible study group (it is a group of families from church, we don't always get to the lesson, though, LOL!)

Other activities...I have a preteen and a barely teen in addition to a couple toddlers....we have basketball, track, band concerts, choir concerts, awards nights, 4H stuff, AWANA for the younger girl, youth group for the older. There is the social that goes with that....so it isn't "just" for the kids...we make some friends from other parents out of that mess of stuff, too.

One of my daycare families are part of a local theatre group, that takes up a ton of time in the evenings for them...but they LOVE it, some of their kids do some acting, too.

One of the pluses of having a separate daycare area, is that daycare isn't staring you face after hours. That's a big part of thinking about it all the time, because you see it all the time.

For the most part I do what needs to be done during the work day.

When I get obsesses, it usually involves a training that I have been inspired by. I am currently in a dedicated 9-month training program about getting preschoolers ready for kindergarten, so every month after a training I am focused on changing something.

This weekend it's going to involve the dh and power tools...I hope it turns out the way I am envisioning it, .
