Frequent Bathroom Trips How To Limit?

I have a new DCB that is 2y old and at home only wears underwear and is potty trained (mom's says anyways ). So today he had to potty at 8:10, 8:35, 8:53, 9:12, 9:30, ........ Do you see what I did this morning?

This is his 2nd day and I can't spend all my time in the bathroom. He just goes a little at a time. I also have to keep reminding him to point down because he has sprayed my bathroom about 10 times in two days.
I would think he'd get that hang of that with all the practice he's getting!

I had another boy (3y) that did this for a few days when he first started using the potty but I can't remember if it just stopped or what? I could send him in by himself though so it wasn't as much of a big deal.

Does anyone have tips to help him go more? Right now if he just went and 5 minutes later he has to again I tell him to wait if I'm doing something or other kids are using the potty because it's really getting frustrating for me and the other kids.

This is just one of the many issue's I'm having. (I posted already about the behavior yesterday). We have tomorrow and then next week left of my trial period. I haven't decided what I want to do yet.

OMG! This sounds like what I had go on last week! Fortunately for me my 2 yo dcb was only here for the week and isn't permanent!

I'm anxious to here if anyone has some good suggestions on this! I so feel for you!

Its great that he is getting good control over his bladder muscles! Sorry I can't give much advice, but just try to look at the bright side!

Do you use any sticker charts in the bathroom for the kids? Maybe say he will get 4 per day ( not unlimited amount! ) for each time he uses the potty and gets all of the pee out....or maybe use a 30 second sand time and dare him to see how long it takes him to go....i dunno just some things that popped into my head.

I have a boy who does this and he is 4

I tell him to make sure that he goes all of the way when he goes. I some times stand at the door to make sure that he is actually going more than just a few drops or a tiny amount. I will say, did you empty your bladder bucket?

he was doing the same exact thing as the other kid you have..

I think its because of the way that he was potty trained. Instead of him waiting to feel the urge to go, his trainer put him on the pot every 20 minutes. So he really is not potty trained in my eyes....

Oh anotehr thing. After 2x of I have to pee, I tell him ok we are going to hold it for as long as you can. Typically he will go back to playing for quite some time....

I would have hit sit to pee (for spraying issue) and to point his penis at the water. I promise it will help. ::

After he goes, have him sit on the potty and count to 20. I also have them take a few deep breaths. It will give him a chance to relax and release any leftover urine he is holding back. I think sometimes they get so excited that they went in the potty that they stop the stream, ::
