    Sanitizing Methods PLEASE HELP

OKay so My son and daughter and another girl had coxsackie late september, I sanitized everthing. I sprayed everything with bleach solution and washed all toys with bleach and soap. Now last week my son and other boy and assistant get sick. I feel like I am not doing a great job cleaning. I take all mouthed toys every day and clean them, spray down everything with bleach after each day...Just curious to know what are your systems??? Any quick ideas out there?

You did everything that I would of done. Sometimes by the time you realize you have a virus it's to late for the sanitizing to do any good. Hopefully it has run it course. This time of year I start having the kids wash their hands when they get here. I don't know if it helps but it makes me feel better.

Sounds like you did every thing possible. I wipe down and spray most everyday. On the weekend everything gets washed and sanitized. I bought a big bottle of hand sanitizer and put it at my front door/ signin area with a sign instructing parents to help there children apply it properly everyday. Then I make sure they wash through out the day. Winter is always a bad time for colds and other illnesses. Never seems like we sanitize enough esp in the winter. Just keep doing what your doing! Theres no real easy solution. Washing hands is a huge step in the right direction, I think it does help.

Do you wash down tables and bigger toys as well? Door knobs that sort of thing?

Like other have said it can be really hard to wipe out a virus once someone has it

Don't feel guilty I think we all go through this every year! Kids get sick and we blame ourselves. You are doing everything right. I do the same all of my toys, doorknobs, toilet seats counter tops everything I can think of gets sprayed with bleach water solution at the end of the day. Lots of handwashing as well.
