    Raise Your Hand If...

...part of the reason you started and/or are continuing to do daycare is because you may be having a midlife crisis and miss having BABIES around darn it?!!

    *cough*

OK, I'll be the first to admit it.

LOL i have a five year old and two 14 month old babies, they are my reason for being a stay at home dad and the reason for wanting to get some extra income while watching them

Oh it was definately a mid- life crisis. It was a full on rebellion against the corporate world for me and my husband. The wonderful kids are an amazing bonus to being our own boss. We have two of our own too 8 and 17 year old boys, the youngest was raised in our center . The eldest stopped coming there after school when he went to high school 2 years ago.

        Present!

My own kids are 26-31 and I don't see any grandchildren in the near future, so these Dck's are my substitutes.

Me, Me, Me! I always wanted a huge family. I only got 3 of my own but lots of others. I feel blessed I get to get those little hugs and kisses every day but I wont have to deal with them as teenagers or pay for college!!!!

When I was younger it was a sure-fire form of birth control, but now that my kids are older it's definitely approaching the mid-life thing.

My kids are 21, 23 and 26, and I just found out the oldest (and his wife ) are blessing me with my first grandbaby next year! I'm so freakin' excited I can hardly contain myself .

YAY!!! I'm not quite ready to be a grandma but I'm definitely looking forward to it. Lucky you!!

I am sooo enjoying snuggling with little ones again. This job is the best.

not me. Right now I am so busy with my own babies, I strongly prefer daycare kids over 18 months.

I actualy started because I wanted kids and I knew it wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

I am 27 now and getting really close to having a few of my own and I can't wait!!!

Funny story....on the way to WI this weekend (a 6 hour drive) I was studing for a test in my child and infant devl class and had a mini meltdown that I knew more about babies than all of my friends and I am the only one who doesn't have one! so not fair That was an interesting look on my boyfirneds face when I was finished with my rant ::

I used to be BABY crazy and wanted more but hubby thought our family was perfect. I don't know if it is this group or age but I have no desire for more children. My kids are still young (10-18) and everyone talks about oh how they can't wait to be grandparents and I tell them I'm to young to be a grandma. I just want to enjoy my own children awhile long before adding more children to the mix.

I have a hard group right now and I think that is part of it. When we go out (to dinner, shopping) I like quiet so a screaming child grates on my nerves. I use to be understanding but now I just want to tell them to take the child out and come back when they aren't screaming.
