no not of the kids of the parents. One mom says to me this morning at drop off " can you call me mama? Its just an older term and I dont want my daughter calling me mom" Usually what I say is " so and so your mom or dad is here" Do I really have to say Girl, your mama is here?
Plus with all the grandparents with noni, nana, nino, uela, peace grandma( i have no idea why she is named that!) and nono, papi, papa, then throw in the mom, mama, mommie, dad, dada, popo, etc.
I am so confused. I tried to keep all the family members nicknames straight, so i just say mom and dad is here, grandma is here, etc. I mean they know who i am talking about!
Anyone else with me on this?!
