Same here, . I've never charged a late payment fee; I've never had to. It must be that 'Minnesota Nice' stuff.

My rate is a weekly rate, but I do payments biweekly on Mondays for the following 2 weeks.

I charge weekly as well, but parents also have the choice of biweekly, or monthly. I've yet to have one agree to yearly hahaha.

I've always had parents choose to do biweekly. They like to pay when they get paid. Works for me.

I voted Weekly but I do whatever works best for the family.

A lot of my current families pay me monthly in advance.

I have 2 that pay me weekly and I had one that paid me bi-monthly because that's how she got paid.

I wish rate changes weren't so stressful. I am wondering if I am gonna have families leave. I am just going to meet with each family with a sheet breaking down my weekly fee and showing them how cheap I really am if they have any problems, and if I can't get them to see it my way I guess I will just have to deal with it and find a new family. Its funny how $200 a week for two children coming 4-10 hr days can break down to $2.50 an hour do I think I'm worth it? yes I do.

I also charge monthly, it's what's done here. I think it also makes a lot of sense. No arguments over sick days, child being on vacation, holidays, etc. Twelve checks, exactly equal, no fuss no muss
