Impetigo

Has anyone dealt with impetigo before? I had a family that was in holidays in Florida last week. Yesterday dcm took dcg 3 to the doc and she has impetigo. According to the mom the doc said she could return to daycare after 24 hours on treatment. However, from the different sites I have been reading it is a min. of 48 hours on oral antibiotics or longer depending on the age of the child. Here is one link:

How long would you recommend the child be excluded from care?

I have one with it too. The care sheet says 24 hours after antibiotics are started is fine.
