Do You Ever Think....

That you have the best, cutest and most well behaved daycare kids in the world?

Today, I was told that my whole group is the best behaved group they've ever seen. She said "most kids in groups like this are obnoxious...yours are so nice and cute".

I thought "Hmm.. ya know, they are really well behaved, thoughtful of each other and awful dang cute".

Then later, almost three year old hit almost four year old.... everybody tattled at first, then they started discussing it among themselves. They worked it out together. Two year old said "Sorry O**"... O** said "I don't accept".. the other two said "She means it... you should always say 'That's O.K M*****"... and I never had to step in because they knew what to say.... much better than I could have.

I learned a few nice lessons in kindness today.

I do have the cutest little sweeties and they are really NICE people. They adore each other and are very respectful and kind.

They are my little love prince and princesses.

My heart melts when I see them coming up the front sidewalk in the morning.

Idunno... I can't actually take much credit for it. All the parents are just really awesome. I can take credit for a few over the last several years.... but, mostly the parents just really step up.

It depends on what day it is as how they are acting. All it takes is one kid to be in a bad mood and it changes the whole daycare.
I can imagine how good it must have made you feel to have someone say that about your kids.
