    Breakfast

I only have 2 dck's right now. The first dcb comes in this morning with a bag of donuts they bought at the local donut shop. He was nice enough to bring one for the other dcg and one for me! I'm trying to lose weight, doesn't help!
Dcg comes in with a napkin saying she needs to throw it away it was for her to wipe off her ice cream she just had!
Yet, the parents just don't understand why their children have behavior problems???

It's going to be along day!

Ice cream for breakfast! LOL Now, I'm one to hand out a good wholesome oatmeal cookie for breakfast, but NEVER ice cream!

The donuts would be hard...they probably thought they were being nice in bringing a treat for everyone. People bring donuts to the office to share all the time. I don't see a problem with it if it's not too often. Even though I'm all for the cookies, I don't think donuts are such good breakfast food. I know I'd be buzzing for 20 minutes and then be hungry again.

If your the same poster that was discussing how nutritional values of a oatmeal cookie is than please tell how ice cream would be any different. The ingredients in the ice cream in my freezer is milk, cream, sugar, vanilla. I would think it would be no difernce than homemade oatmeal cookies.
I would not serve oatmeal cookies or ice cream for breakfast.
          Just saying....

            Oh man

One year I had a big problem with parents letting their child walk in with junk in the morning. Currently my policy states it has to be given to me, and if they choose to bring food there has to be enough for everyone. Otherwise Johnny gets his cookie split 4/5 ways.
I had one lady who without asking, put her child at my table with a happy meal from McD.
in front of the other children mind you, so predictably they were pretty upset. After I shooshed her out the door, it was split 4 ways and I gave them all cereal with it. I don't serve breakfast anymore, and has helped solve that problem.

A learning experience, and I've learned you have to gate your home from rude parents as well.
