What a nice idea to post positivity

    Here's mine:
    • I love walking my kids to & from school every day
    • I love knowing that if one of my own kids has a runny nose or tummy ache, that I can keep them home with me
    • I love that I can drink coffee & watch my favorite shows when the kids are playing
    • I love being able to wear shorts, sweats & a t-shirt everyday if I want
    • I love being able to take a day off whenever I need to
    • I love being able to walk outside & get fresh air whenever I want
    • I love having such a clean & organized home
    • I love that I can bake anytime I want
    • I love that my daycare kids love me & want to hang out with me
    • I love being trusted by my daycare families with their most cherished possession
    • I love not having to buy gas hardly ever
    • I love being able to have dinner ready when my husband gets home
    • I love being my own boss!!!
    • I love being able to chat on the phone whenever I want
    • I love coloring, painting and drawing with the kids
    • I love getting hugs & cuddles all day long
    • I love coming on this site to read all your posts

        I have one!!!!

        1. Anytime my 3 month old is hungry, I can breastfeed him. If I worked outside the home I would have to take my lunch break to pump and then have my coworkers say that I take too long...(thats what happened with baby #1 when I worked outside the home.)

SO YEA, to being able to feed our own babies!!!

I like that since I specialize in school age I can work/earn money and still be envolved at the school week after nexts I am making a bringing in a big pasta salad as the teacher work 12 hour days all week for parent teacher conferences.

**more time to help the school.

              There are so many

I feel very blessed every time I am sitting in the back yard soaking up the bird song and sunshine.

I also agree with iheartkids concerning home vs. center. It does feel good to have that creative control doesn't it?

New positive thing, my son is 20. Still lives at home. But his friends are slowly moving out on their own. It's refreshing to have them show up with groceries, asking me to teach them to cook. Today I taught one how to make mushroom risotto and baked salmon for his sweetie at nap.

I love being able to prepare a special supper for our wedding anniversary today! Being able to cook what I want, when I want is a super plus to being home all day!

Today the kids and I made a huge fort in the living room. It took me back to my childhood with my little brothers.

Love this post! I'm going to print out a list for myself so I have it on hand for the challenging days to remind me of why I do what I do!

A good thread, thanks for starting it. Nice to have some reminders of why I am in this business. I have nothing new to add, it has all been said.
