    Oh, I Love My DH

DH is downstairs with the daycare kids: DD (4), DCB (3.5), DCG (2.5), DCB (2.3). The two boys have some speech delays/troubles and can't really follow instructions really well--DH just found this out when trying to get them to clean up toys (which was a comedy unto itself).

So what does he think it's a GREAT idea to teach them? Red Light, Green Light.

Talk about a comedy of errors...one who didn't understand how to stop, one who refused to walk forward and then cried when DD reached DH (even though we don't make a big deal out of winning here; he has that concept), and one who thought that he was supposed to walk/run around with his eyes shut, which led to him crashing into everyone and knocking things over.

It quickly degenerated into a massive tickle fest, although now I'm going to have to kick DH outside with them because they're all wound up.

dave, that's pretty much what my DH just did, . He gets to leave here in a little while to go play board games all day with his buddies at a boardgaming convention.

I, on the other hand, get to do a preschool session with them, involving the dissection and hands-on investigation of a pumpkin. I predict baths tonight...

        Too sweet! I love it!

That is also what my DH does best. I kinda cringe when he starts getting them so wound up but the giggles, laughs and smiles on their faces more than make up for it...::
