I worked in a pet store. Biggest thing is to treat everything all at once. Most people forget about their yards. Fleas love barkdust/mulch/whatever you like to call it. You need to spray down the yard. When you bathe your dog, start right by the ears and work your way toward the tail. Leave shampoo on for 5-10 minutes so it can do it's job! We do the oral flea meds now, too. They are great b/c I can still shampoo my pups if they get dirty. Plus, I don't worry about anyone petting them too soon after application.
Fleas!

Unless its because they are in the house now and keep going on her? She is not infested. I only have seen at most 5 on her in the last two weeks. But my sons room is where they all seem to be. Even in there I only seen like one but he is obvioulsy getting bitten.
I have taken all advice and am trying to nip this! The yard is what I am worried about. We have soooo many stray dogs and a ton of deer that all linger in front where the dog goes. I feel like it will be never ending- Flag

I tried this two weeks ago before we had any problems and I saw only the one on her. But it didn't work ?!

Its def fleas. I took one to the vet with me in a little jar. Im that paranoid. But can I tell you how nervous the thought of bed bugs makes me? We have had them so many places where i live. I worry that someone will bring them in or god forbid we go somewhere with them and bring them home ourselves.- Flag

You can check if the fleas are gone by putting a night light on and a large bowl of soapy water underneath, the fleas jump towards the light and fall in the water.
I had fleas with my dog and Vaccumed EVERYTHING and mopped everyday!! Even vaccumed the dog too (on low)- Flag
