    Unattended Children Sign ;)

I love this sign! I have too many parents that tend to leave their children roam around the property and even into the street at drop off and after pick up. So I thought about making this sign for my own property. Partially as a joke of course but perhaps it would actually help the parents to remember to keep a hold of their children, not that they would actually think I am giving those out. Does anyone have anything like this in a joking manner or serious?

No but I do have that problem with parents. Other parents arrive....and all the kids are in my yard playing. One day there were 6 kids. I feel it's a huge liability risk and I sent out an email immediately,

I've seen that sign in stores. :: I know its meant to be a funny but oh, don't you just want to do that sometimes??? I have more trouble with parents letting their other kids run through my entire house than outside. I am trying to find the right wording for my next newsletter for this problem. Don't think the espresso/kitten thing will work for me, LOL!

How about something like "Please be respectful of my home/daycare and do not allow your children and siblings to run through my home during drop off and pick up times."

I find it much easier to enter statements like that into the newsletter rather than tell them face to face because then they know I am pointing the finger and they tend to get defensive. But then I also have the problem where my newsletter is often ignored and not even read.

        Good luck to you!

This THis THIS... it works like a charm.

I had an issue with one of my DCK age 3. As soon as parnets came he turned into a little devil. It got so bad that one day I got down on my knee right in front of him; mom was present and I said"

Since you are not able to behave and follow the rules when mom and dad come to get you, I am not going to allow mommy and daddy to come inside to pick you up any more. He started crying and I stood up and told mom, from now on, you will need to pick up at the door. I will make sure he is all ready to go. I can't allow for this to happen anymore.

it took 3 weeks before the parents and the kid finally got it. now it's just a really quick pick up inside that does not pass the foyer in my home
