    Thanks for the nap ideas!

so many of you make all the kids nap together and I have never been able to do that, I have always separated everyone. I took the plunge and put everyone downstairs. There are several rooms but they sort of make a circle so everyone does still hear others crying and what not. you know what? they all cry and then calm down within 10 or 15 minutes and all sleep better that way! crazy huh they have quickly gotten used to hearing everyone else and its not a big deal. I have the following sleeping downstairs, a 2 yr old, 13 month old, 12 month old, 11 month old and those three youngers all struggle with crying before nap but do better together than separate. whats up with that? they are all in pack n plays and i do check on them frequently and if they happen to wake up, they don't start crying like they used to. Is there some kind of reason to this? I should have tried it a long time ago!

I think they are satisfied that nobody else is doing anything fun or eating oreos, either...::

Nah, Mine just look around, see their friends are still there and fall back asleep if they wake early.

They are really bonded to one another, YKWIM? They are sleeping like rocks, right now.

yes maybe they think they are the only ones napping but when they are all together and everyone has to go to bed at the same time, theres less of a fight? they see me get each kid changed and tucked in so they probably understand that its their turn too.

        Oh, they definitely do.

My oldest DCB (2.5) scolded me today for not changing the baby first (slightly wet while another had bm)...::::

They catch on to our habits and patterns faster than most can imagine.
