I don't know how much I make per month but I know exactly how much I spend.

I'm in Southern California... San Diego area. $200 a week is VERY high for here. I charge $160 a week for full timers or $40 per day. Thats probably the highest I can get here. Theres A LOT of unlicensed babysitters & SAHM's around here that charge @ $100 a day... so it kind of messes up the flow in rates here. I only care for 6 kids at a time though... never 8. I dont really like caring for "school-agers" except my own So I probably will never make more than I do now.

3200.00 a month while school is on......but I give my kindergarten teacher a break when school is out and charge her half and she can bring him 2 1/2 days a week during that time........so when school is out for her I'm down to 2900

LOL, same here. I watch them until they reach about 4, then it's off to pre-k for them. And 6 is my limit too. I used to be licensed for 12, and I had a full load. It was exhausting. My MIL was my helper, but it was still too much work

I have two full timers and one parttime...

I'm at $5400 per month including food program reimbursement. That is for 5 full time & 2 part timers. That's gross, not net.

I'm full right now, so before expenses I'm making 5200 per month.
                6 full timers.
Don't tell my dh though....I've been putting a lot into our savings and he never checks that account. He's under the impression that I'm making about 2800 per month. He'll be very happy when I decide to share how we are doing.

Not enough. I've only had 1 full time for awhile so it's been $500/month. If I could be full, it would be $1500/month. Next week I'll be at $0/month b/c my full timer is leaving. I really need to be full so I'm looking at other options...

I find it interesting how different income is for everyone spread across America. Some are making double what I make for the same amount of kids! Astonishing and makes you wonder why such a difference because it doesn't sound like drastic differences in rates when people have put them down.

                          Food Program

I'm in the process of opening a 24/7 daycare and am researching all I can on the internet. Found this thread and want to know, how does the Food Program work?

1800$ including food program but I'm in my first year so my start up has been costly. I have 3 full time, and1 part time. I'd like to have more but my own kids count in my ratios. Also, my crazy parent spots are full, so I'm taking my time finding the right fit.

With 4 full time kiddos and 1 part time I make $2600 a month before expenses.
