This May Prove To Be An Interesting Day...

    1. one two year old daycare boy who doesn't know what to do with himself when he's the only kid besides my daughter (he does.not.play. by himself...he stands around and stares at me all day)
    2. one cranky teething cold-fighting three month old
    3. one three year old with a fever hovering near my exclusion limit and a possible sore throat, who ergo is cranky and fussy herself
    4. one mountain of laundry that desperately needs done

My plan is to try and convince the two year old to play with SOMEthing, convince DD to keep her germs to herself and take a nap, wear the baby in the Moby wrap when he doesn't want to be on the floor, and attempt to get this laundry done...is it naptime yet?!

(((((hugs))))) wish I could make it better. But we are only 3 days (not counting today) away from Friday if it is any consolation.

thanks blackcat just having someplace to come grouch about it before going to do it is pretty nice in and of itself!

At least the sun is out today...even though I don't think we'll get out for long (see numbers 2 and 3, ) it's lifting everyone's spirits. I also pulled out the easel and DD and DCB are painting with watercolors at the easel, and later I'm probably going to pull out the big bowling set for them.

It ended up being an incredibly boring day, but that's okay because boring is good. DD was mellow all day (which is a pleasant change from the norm but I feel bad that she's not feeling great), DS ended up sleeping most of the day, and DCB was intrigued by the watercolors and bowling and actually played, then took a good nap and played more when he woke up. I got some laundry done too--load 5 is washing, load 4 is drying, 2 and 3 are folded and need put away. Annoyingly there's still some laundry that needs gathered and taken downstairs...to join the 4 loads still down there. And, I started reorganizing DD's room during naptime which has her just thrilled.
