What do you use for mats for the children to sleep on? Did you buy a specific mat for this purpose, or is putting a blanket on the ground good enough? If you did buy them, where and what do they go for? Also, am I allowed to put the kids down for a nap on our beds if it is in an approved room and if I lay a clean sheet on top for them?
Sleeping Mats?

I use 2 inch Kindermats with slip-on Kindermat Sheets and travel pillows for DCK's 12mths and up.
I use individual Pack-n-Plays for Birth to 12 months.
As far as where to lay them, the regs vary too much to be able to recommend anything.
We have to be in the same room.- Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.- Flag

For many, many years, I used just a blanket or towel on the ground for them to sleep on. Last spring I purchased nap cots off of ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Daycare-Na...item3a699e2eca
I love them and wish I would have bought them sooner.- Flag

I have nap mats from Safety 1st. They were a good price - only 10 a piece if I remember correctly, but you get what you pay for. They are a decent thickness and the kids don't seem to mind them, but I'm not sure how long they will last.
The kids roll off of them almost everyday anyway!- Flag

I hope within the next few months he'll be able to move to a mat in the living room with everyone else. He is on the main floor so I can hear him at all times and check on him often.- Flag
