Centers Advertising on CL

I was checking out my areas competition on Cl and I found a posting from a nearby center who stays open until 11:30 pm!! I have never seen an ad on CL from a center. Also, there were a lot of ALL (infants +)ages open. I havent seen that in a while.

I wonder how that represents the market right now. Do centers near you stay open until 11:30? Do you have lots of openings in your area still?

We have a

YMCA that does 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. care
a 24 hour center
a center open from 6 a.m. to midnight.


VERY busy places and VERY high staff turnovers at all of them. Each place also accepts kids from birth until 12 years of age.

There are ads from atleast 4 different places in our newspapers each week. No one in my area used Craig's List for childcare.

We have 24 hour drop in centers in our region.

This summer I got a huge 240 and a 190 center in my zipcode... yay. I got to watch their ads while at the movies with my kids this weekend.

Luckily they think pretty highly of themselves still and are charging outside of what our region supports.

They will become commuter drops, not local centers.

WE have a couple centers that advertise on CL. We have a very few centers that stay open that late, afaik.

Wow, I didn't know that there centers that are open THAT LATE.

If there is indeed high turnovers, wouldn't the quality of care be compromised?
