I have a couple brothers for several months now, Waylon 5 & Nash is 3. DAILY I hear Nash say "What the F...!" I absolutely don't like bad language and I'm sure some of the other parents wouldn't like their children learning it from these 2. I have Nash sit in time out every time he does it but he just doesn't care. He yells about sitting down, but does this every day anyway. Mom, Jamie, just kind of laughed when I told her and said she swears like a sailor. How do you all handle cussing?

Unfortunately the remedy probably means terminating both siblings. If the parent doesn’t want to help you, it’s a loss cause.

sorry for the delay. The best advice that I can give is to redefine his word. Kids dont know the meaning of the word until we teach them.
Dont give the reaction he is looking for. He is mostl likely looking for attention.
Pretend he said something else like Truck instead of F***. I respond by saying where is the truck and even act like I am looking out the window or picking up a toy truck.
Remember you can not control how you feel but you can control how you react.
