I would like to increase my business. I am hopeful that the traffic continues to increase. Definitely seeing an Improving market over the last month.

I think, for myself anyway a an old-timer, I find myself in a cycle of positive, negative, burnt out.....finding solutions, not-finding solutions, etc. to the point, I think 'I really don't wanna type this again'....Child Care, in general, but especially family child care can become daunting.....Also, I do NOT see alot of NEW daycare providers coming along......not sure what child care is going to look like in another 5-10 years.....Oh well, that'ts my two cents about that.

I did have a great holiday season and two week break; got some decluttering within in my own home completed......HAPPY about that....Did very little daycare work with the exception of the amounts each family had paid for the year. Tried to relax, drink coffee, watch lifetime movies, develop a budget for home, etc.....just tried to breathe and relax. My son got engaged which was exciting......OH and some college sports that I could have FIXED if the college football playoff committee would have contacted me. LOL

Hope all enjoyed their holiday season and are ready to roll into a new year, a new day, a new time; I am excited at what this year will hold for my family and MYSELF!

I agree with you on a hopeful exciting year. We are here in The Los Angeles area and have been dodging the fires this week. We had 80mph gusts the day Pacific Palisades burnt. I don’t know how they could have controlled that fire even with all the water they needed. Imagine a hurricane of fire. We are still not out of the woods. Expecting 50mph winds Monday and Tuesday with 15% humidity.

I have been watching the fires....those winds were so wild and then to see those who had lost their homes so quickly with the fire moving so fast....those pictures from the air at night I can't get out of my mind. Prayers y'all stay safe!
