Anyway, I am going to do some research for myself, but thought I'd ask here in case anyone had something lying around.
I need an article about using kind words with kids. Had a dcb say "Shut up" today, and another dcb say, "He said shut up. Shut up is not nice to say. My mama says shut up to me when I talk to her too much."
Yes, he's a talker, and yes, it gets annoying after a while, BUT I do not agree with a parent telling their child to "shut up."
Same kid told me today that he and his mom had "pi$$ed off" his grandmother and now they can't go visit her anymore. (dcm just bought a house, so they aren't living there anymore)
Anyway, just need some ideas for articles. I am giving it to everyone because I have had other kids say things like this before. Just breaks my heart for them...
