Daycare Liability Insurance

I’m licensed for 6 children and having trouble locating liability insurance. My current insurance company no longer insures small businesses. Does anyone have suggestions?

Call your home owners insurance, unless you have AAA, they will drop you. My homeowners insurance insures me. I actually switched insurance companies because the company I had, Liberty, did not do child care for six at the time.

Plus my new (old) company was cheaper on all accounts. (Old because I had used them before)

I ended up with Next because my old insurer no longer offers daycare insurance, and then the replacement insurer stopped insuring past six kids (Tennessee licenses for seven).

If things continue this way, I'll eventually have to close just because there's no insurance available.
