Silly Question-at What Age do Toddlers Pull Up Their Own Pants?

I currently have 2 2.5 year olds, on of which will pull up her pants after a diaper change. The other 2.5 yr old and the 2 year old just give me a blank stare. I've tried making it fun and teaching them, but will it do much good if it's being done for them at home?

My daughter will be 3 in November and is still working on it. She tries and can do some easy-to-pull up pants, but she still can't get the butt. And jeans- no way. She gets really frustrated when she tries it and I'm all for allowing them to experience that frustration and encouraging them to really try things, but she physically cannot do it. So, we've gone back to just doing it for her. We figure we'll try again in a few months when she's more likely to be able to do it.

I would say anywhere from early 2's to 4 years old. A lot of it depends on what type of clothing they have on. Elastic waistbands are easy peasy but jeans...fuggettaboutit!

When my son (3) goes potty, he has to take everything from the waist down completely off. Sometimes even socks!

Anyways, I do have to get him dressed back up. I wish he could do it himself, but I'm not trying to stress. There's enough of that in my life. "Don't sweat the small stuff"

I thought my two were the only ones who did that.

My 4 yo strips from the waist down to pee and completely strips to poop. He brings all of his clothes to me to put back on, but I am really working with him to redress himself. Unders he can get back on with no problem, jeans and shirt are tougher.

My 3 yo is great with the unders, but won't even attempt his jeans and t-shirts. He still can't manage to take his t-shirt off.
